Planning permission has now been granted for one of Swift Building Design's more unusual jobs. Conversion of a former morgue to a two bedroom dwelling. All that needs to happen now is the client to finish building the aeroplane he is refurbishing in it!
Work is really gathering pace on this substantial remodel of a detached house in Penwortham. The scaffold is due to come down today to allow acces to complete the construction of the feature , two storey bay window.
As I was passing on the way to another job I noticed that the two storey side extension that I did in Bamber Bridge, Preston is now practically complete.
The first floor created a lovely master suite with walk in wardrobe and ensuite. At ground floor a wc, utility and substantial garage create geat practical space while an extension all the way accross the back of the original house forms a large open plan kitchen and living space with vaulted ceilings.
Good news for a young family in Newburgh when their application for a loft conversion with dormers designed and submitted by Swift Building Design was approved by West Lancashire Borough Council yesterday.
The happy client actually rang me to tell me it had got approved as it was posted on the Councils website the same day!
